If the commodity prices are coming down how will it impact Pakistan's economy?
Atif Mian has a point as in 2008 we did have a bubble burst in the housing sector but that was due to lenders relaxed their strict lending standards to extend credit to people who were less than qualified. This drove up housing prices to levels that many could not otherwise afford. I believe, our banking sector is much more stable and I do not see any situation happening as it did in the 2008 housing bubble.
