If Aleema's properties are IK's, why did not PML-N prosecute him for that?

Why did they not prosecute him for embezzling charity money as they have been claiing for years. They had entire government machinery and resources at their disposal for five years.

Foreign funding case will be decided within next couple of months. The scrutiny committee has asked all parties to submit required documents by mid August.

No evidence IK or Aleema used charity money to enrich themselves. PML-N has been making this allegation for almost 10 years. They were in power for 5 years. Should have prosecuted them, if they had evidence.

If you think a SC judge, especially the one who gives sermons on integrity and judges' conduct, should not come clean, I can't help you. Even if he were targeted, he should have practiced what he preaches and come clean. No one stopped him from doing so.

Had he satisfied ex CJ Khosa upon initial inquiry, the case would have been done. And we won't be having this discussion.

Aleema didn't get away. She paid the penalty for tax evasion under the law. She was guilty of tax evasion, not amassing assets at taxpayers' expense.

The constitution has set different expectations of public office holders & those who don't hold public office. For example, article 62 applies to lawmakers only who have authority and executive powers, unlike citizens who are not legislators. And rightly so.

Again, Aleema paid the penalty for the law she violated. She did not get away with tax evasion because she is IK's sister.

A SC judge wields tremendous power. As I mentioned before, if the judge has his affairs in order and did no wrong, he should have no problem in coming clean. Had he done that following what he preaches, his stature would have risen.

The argument other judges are not pious and honest is a fallacious one. When questions are asked of a top state official, especially a judge who does not get tired of giving sermons on honesty & integrity, he does not point fingers to others, as Qazi has done. He clears his name.

His verdicts read more like partisan political history than solid legal judgements. Much is made of his Faizabad dharna where he focuses on one political party, while ignoring his favourite one. In practical terms, the verdict does not amount to much.

Also, recall, it's the same Esa who headed the dubious Memo Commission, that many claim was establishment's doing, and declared Haqqani a traitor. So much for him being 'anti-establishment'.

Totally disagree with you on Nawaz's ouster. It was a global scam. He too, like Qazi, instead of coming clean, engaged in all sorts of shenanigans. First, he lied in the 'sacred' parliament (the now infamous 'huzur yeh hain woh zaraye' speech) because he thought he would get away with it as Kh. Asif publicly said at the time. Second, he rejected even an inquiry suggested by opposition parliamentarians:

Third, state institutions like NAB & FIA did not move one bit due to state capture by the executive. NAB's chairman at the time said in open court he won't initiate cases against Sharifs.

Fourth, SC took up the case upon both parties' consent.

Fifth, Sharifs had no legally acceptable defence. All they had were 12th hour bogus Qatari letters and Calibri forgery.

Sixth, as to why others were not indicted, you should ask Sharifs who were in power. It was their government & they had the power to prosecute others. But they did not for obvious reasons.

Also, 'why not others' isn't convincing when we are talking about the highest executive office in the country.

By the way, one person named in Panama Leaks was the LHC judge Farrukh who gave Sharifs relief in Hudaibya case. How surprising.

Last, Nawaz's sons and samdhi absconded, instead of coming clean.

So, to sum up, Nawaz got ample opportunity to come clean, but he didn't. That Sharifs had no legally acceptable defence, could not come up with a coherent story as to how the London properties were bought, and told blatant lies everywhere, instead of clearing their names, is totally on them.

If despite all that, you think Nawaz was ousted because of the army, and not his own failure to come clean and mountain of evidence against them, then it's futile to argue.

Not a single court in the world worth its salt would have accepted the bogus Qatari letter defence.

آیئن کا تقاضہ ہے کہ جب صدر کو کسی جج کے خلاف کیمپلینٹ پہنچے تو وہ اسپر انوسٹیگیٹ کرے مائنڈ اپلائی کرے اور سپریم جیوڈیشل کونسل کو کیس بھیجے ۔ یہ صدر کا (دو ایک میں سے ) اہم ترین آیئنی فرض ہے ۔ صدر کیمپلینٹ پر معلومات انتظامیہ سے لیتا ہے جسکی انتظامیہ آئینی طور پر پابند ہے کہ وہ صدر کی مکمل مدد کرے ۔
صدر کے پاس کسی بھی طور کسی جج کے کنڈکٹ کے متعلق معلومات یا الزام ہو تو اسکا فرض ہے کہ وہ عمل کرے ۔
اگر آپ کو کسی دوسرے جج کا ریفرنس دائر کرنے کی چااہت ہے تو آپ بھی اس جج کے خلاف صدر کو اطلاع کریں یا وزارت قانون کے ذریعے اطلاع دیں ۔اعتراض کہ اس اور اس جج کو نہیں پوچھا مکمل طور پر فضول ، غیر قانونی اور غیر آئینی اور گمراہ کن ہے ، افسوسناک ہے۔۔​
