پاکستان سری لنکا کو20 کروڑ ڈالر قرض دے گا، سری لنکن میڈیا

سری لنکن میڈیا نے دعویٰ کیا ہے کہ پاکستان کی جانب سے سری لنکا کو 20 کروڑ ڈالر کا قرض دینے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے۔

خبررساں ادارے دی نیوز نے سری لنکن ڈیلی مرر کی رپورٹ کا حوالہ دیتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ پاکستان نے کولمبو کو چاول اور سیمنٹ خریدنے کیلئے 200 ملین ڈالر قرض دینے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔

سری لنکن میڈیا رپورٹس کے مطابق یہ فیصلہ سری لنکن وزیر تجارت کے حالیہ دورہ پاکستان کے دوران کیا گیا ہے ، تاہم دونوں ممالک کے درمیان معاہدے پر ابھی مزید مذاکرات ہونے باقی ہیں جس میں معاہدے کی شرائط طے کی جائیں گی۔

رپورٹس میں دعویٰ کیا جارہا ہے سری لنکا ان پیسوں سے پاکستان سے چاول اور سیمنٹ امپورٹ کیا جائے گا۔

میڈیا رپورٹس کے مطابق سری لنکن سیکرٹری خزانہ سجیتھ اتی گالے نے اسلام آباد کے ساتھ اس معاہدے کی تصدیق کرتے ہوئے بتایا ہے کہ 200 ملین ڈالر کے اس معاہدے پر دونوں ملکوں کے درمیان اتفاق پیدا ہوگیا ہے ، تاہم اس قرض کی دیگر شرائط ابھی طے ہونا باقی ہیں۔

یہاں قابل ذکر امر یہ ہے کہ سری لنکا کو اس وقت سیمنٹ کی شدید قلت کا سامنا ہے جس کی وجہ سے مقامی مارکیٹ میں سیمنٹ کی قیمتیں آسمان سے باتیں کرنے لگی ہیں۔

This is the same way how China progressed, they provide loans to countries who needs it, but the terms include to buying/importing items/expertise from the lender country(i.e China), so not only they benefit from the interest on loans, but also from the increased sales and jobs created for their own citizens.

Not to mention that it also helps in improving relations between countries specially for the one who is lending the money.

This is actually a smart move, and exactly how China progressed. This is more beneficial than spending directly on your own citizens.

When you spend directly on your citizens it only create jobs, But when you lend to another country specifically for importing goods/expertise from you then the same amount of money not only create jobs within your country but you also earn an extra as interest on that loan, along with giving you a strategic influence over the country because you are actually helping them in their difficult time.

As for Mega projects PTI initiated 10 to 12 big dams which is the most by any govt after Ayub Khan in the 60's, constructed more roads than PMLN, Provided Health cards, implemented one syllabus, initiated Ehsaas Program, started Make in Pakistan policy to uplift the local industry, Started planting 11 billion trees which will be one of the biggest service to the world not just Pakistan because environment has no borders, Affordable houses are already being constructed.

Now tell me at least 5 Mega projects of Each Zardari and Nawaz in all their terms combined which PTI hasn't bettered?
