So this is not part of the Orange line, Red line bus project?

What happened to those? What will happen to the buses already existing on the same routes?

Good job by Shehbaz Gill. People will benefited by this mimicry not by bus service.

First of all Karachi always had public transport. All govt initiatives always failed. This is not the first time Sindh govt brought buses, this has happened at least 8 times before in our history.

Problem is simple Karachi needs an estimate of 20,000 - 25,000 to fill the transport requirement, currently there are around 10 - 15,000 private buses running.

Now read the news again how many buses govt added? 240?

Ofcourse not. Is adding buses solution to transportation crises? Karachi at a time used to have 22,000 minibuses operating. all private network. Did it end transportation issues? NO.

A transportation solution for Karachi was started 8 years back with 3 main lines Green, Orange & Red. Along with restoration of Circular railway (KCR).

Out of all of this only Green line got operational last year. Sindh govt instead of completing these projects just randomly started operating buses.

Is this best use of Foreign Minister's time?
While this is going on?

Was this the same "member" our Foreign Minister wanted to start trade with earlier this month?
