PMLN wants to get acquittal for Nawaz and Maryam in the appeal against Al-Azizia-reference verdict that is lying pending in front of IHC for the past two years. GHQ can help them a great deal in that process either by pressurizing judges of IHC or fixing the prosecutors ( Govt and NAB) in favor of Sharif family. Latter option is much easier than the first one. Maryam and Nawaz’s acquittal will pave the way for Maryam running for 2023 elections, and Nawaz’s return to Pakistan and campaign for Maryam.
