Tax Payers can not expect a free and fair election from Election Commission

We Pakistanis are paying in billions to the election commission of Pakistan with our taxes.

While giving such an huge amount and privileges to the Chief Election Commissioner and Election commissioners and whole this election commission, in return we only expect a free and fair elections which can satisfy everyone.

It was really sad to see the IQ level of Chief election commissioner where he favored and reiterated that laws allows secret balloting. But he forgot to mention as well that the same law prohibits the corrupt practices. These two go together and can not be seen as separate.

Most of us may have seen three or four general elections, the election process is same as in the 1970. They have not brought a single reform in the election process other than some minor refurbishment.

I do not know what they are doing during five years period until next general election.

Election commission is only involved in making money from the tenders during this period and enjoying the perks and privileges and every time creating a new dispute.

FIA and other investigative agencies should check phone and bank records of all ECP members and the b@stard ECP head who are clearly in cohorts with the elite corrupt mafia. There should be an institution like Moral Police in KSA to do intelligence and gather evidence to find mall practices and system shall through out all corrupt and people involved in the wrong practices or in the mismanagement of their offices or incompetent out of the system.
When PM says lower corruption does not matter, its strange.

Did we celebrate any corruption free week where Government can give chance to people to complain about the Government offices or officers doing corruption or taking bribe and start an investigation against them.
On Government institutions, there is no check and control.

Every week a high level committee under supreme court judge shall be available on phone or online to listen complains such as,

1. Which Government office is not doing his work in a proper manner.
2. Which Officer is taking bribe.
3. Which area drugs are being sold.
4. Which area police did injustice.

They should take the complain and should act. Inaction has created a lot problems in our society. Since there is no action, people have got bold.

There was no need to make arrangements. They could have only written Name and ID Card number or constituency number by hand and election commission stamp on it.

The root cause of all our ills are the judiciary. One very senior member has aptly pointed out that Pakistan is no better than a gutter but still refuses to provide the money trail of his 'honest' funds.
