Iran k kings ko (kayi) kaha jata tha..... they had the marvelous style of livings... (Iqbal ny us he shan-o-shaukat ki taraf ishara kiya hai) .
There were three iranian kings in history with their names starting from Kai.

Not really, Kayi Tribe was considered the most dominated tribe among Turks which led to foundation of Ottoman Empire.

The bravery and courage of tribe was a source of inspiration for people of that era as well.

Shaan-e-Kayi here means the dignity and respect Kayi tribe enjoyed among other tribes of that era.

Not really, Kayi Tribe was considered the most dominated tribe among Turks which led to foundation of Ottoman Empire.

The bravery and courage of tribe was a source of inspiration for people of that era as well.

Shaan-e-Kayi here means the dignity and respect Kayi tribe enjoyed among other tribes of that era.

I know about this as well. but please try to understand the full context of lines.

It points towards the struggle Turkic Kayis put in to find a place to live in after being attacked by Mongols in their homeland. They struggled, found a place and formed an empire later. This is Shaan. This is respect.

Not the big walls of palaces of some king.

In Anatolia, total of twenty seven villages bear the name of Kayi.[1]

The Kayi tribe were the founders of such medieval Anatolian Beyliks as Isfendiyarogullary and Chobanogullary.
