KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s Quaid Altaf Hussain is under treatment in a London hospital for the last one week being sick, said a MQM handout issued here today.

Altaf being treated by the specialists is on the way to recovery.

MQM Rabita Committee has appealed to all the workers, mothers, sisters, elders, children and the people at large to pray for his complete recovery and his long life, not to give ears to the rumors and maintain unity in their ranks.

Rabita Committee has also expressed its thanks to the President Asif Ali Zardari, Federal Minister, Rahman Malik and other dignitaries for sending the bouquets and enquiring the health of Quaid-e-Tahrik Altaf Hussain.

Pir Sahab was not feeling good
So whole nation Pray for it
May Allah make healthy him
because if any thing happens with bhai
than we'll miss his funny speeches forever.

Isn't it amazing before yesterday, for two days the rumors of his arrest were circulating all over the internet and Rabta Committee did not bothered to inform the world that he is in the hospital. But now after Mirza's press conference and serious allegations against him, this news is release.

Why not before? And which hospital is he in?

Let me guess the answer, it is a security risk to disclose his location.[hilar][hilar]

Something is seriously wrong here, not a single MQM leader in last 3 days have come forward even before Mirza's PC to deny the rumors and take questions from the Press.

KARACHI, Aug 28: The Khidmat-i-Khalq Foundation, the charity wing of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, on Sunday distributed cash assistance and relief goods worth million of rupees among a large number of deserving people, including widows and orphans.
A programme in this regard was held at the Jinnah Ground in Azizabad.
Unlike in the past, this time MQM chief Altaf Hussain did not make a telephonic address from London at the programme. MQM sources told Dawn that Mr Hussain was not feeling well these days.
He had not addressed at an Iftar dinner programme hosted by the party at the same venue on Aug 17.
MQM leaders Dr Farooq Sattar and Mustafa Kamal, who is the managing trustee of the KKF, spoke at the Sunday event.
Dr Sattar stressed the need for curbing social and economic inequality in order to make Pakistan an independent and sovereign state.
He said that price hike, unemployment and poverty were not the biggest problems of Pakistan but the inequality between the rich and the poor was the main issues of the country and the nation.
The programme was also attended by diplomats, businessmen and ulema.

it is strange eversince he is there in UK we never heard the news that declares his being ill or admitted to hosiptal for illness why is it necessary to tell he is admitted to hosiptal rumors multiplying since the news about his house arrest last night Rehman Malick also denied the facts about house arrest of Altaf Hussian but why did Rehman Malik denied he is not the spokesperson of mqm
on the otherhand zufiqar mirza produced facts befor media about altaf hussain on such a crucial stage when mqm is fighting for murder case against them
I think government is playing double game with mqm one right hand showing sympathy to mqm other right hand pulling legs of mqm in such a manner that they will be exposed nakedly

پاکستان کے سارے نیوز چینل پے ابھی یہی نیوز آرہی ہیں کے کلو ایک ہفتے سے بیمار ہے . اب ایم قیو ایم کو کوئی بہانہ تو بنانا تھا نا کے کلو کالیا اریسٹ نہیں ہے صرف ایک ہفتے سے بیمار ہے بس ،نہیں تو مرزا کے خود کش حملے کے بعد کیسے کلو کالیا چپ رہ سکتا ہے

Bro Qamar,

He had serious health problems in the past too, primarily related to his heavy alcohol drinking. According to some internal news he had been in Germany for his treatment under a specialist, on more than one occasion.
MQM always try to conceal it from Public.

But the problem is this time it is different. I am putting some more comments on my thread my analysis of the situation.
