Future of Pak Russia Relations

Our interests are with China, Russia, Turkey, Iran and Afghanistan. As for Arab countries we should only care about those countries that are 100% with us. This now excludes Saudi, UAE and those who have recognized Israel. We can not be friends with those Muslim's who support our enemies to harm us or oppose us on the Kashmir issue.

Referring to Galaxy's comments above: ?

For China and Turkey..... outrightly YES.

For Russia..... As long as China is firmly standing behind Pakistan I do not see any reason not to normalize our ties with Russia. I am very certain our relations with Russians will gradually grow based upon mutual respect and mutual benefits.... economic benefits being the foremost. Putin is not a bad person, he's a victim of mainly American and to a lesser extent West's negative propaganda because of his strong personality and not bowing in front of them. With his sports background, he fits to gel extremely good with sportsman Imran Khan.

For very obvious reasons it will be a BIG BIG blunder, in fact suicidal, to enter into a visa free entry regime with Iran and Afghanistan at this point in time. Once the Taliban takes a firm control of entire Afghanistan then things can be worked out with them for mutual benefit. However, I can never ever even think to open up Pakistan's borders to Iranians under the present regime. It can be possible once saner, educated Iranians take control of their country who are well versed with the sensitivities of international relations based upon "Live and Let live" peacefully, and NOT meddling into the affairs of other countries with a specific misguided agenda. Pakistan earned its peace after sacrificing thousands of its soldiers and civilians in the past 4 decades. Now the peaceful apple-cart should not be disturbed under any circumstances on one pre text or another.

After learning bitter lessons, Pakistanis will be the last people on this planet earth to let terror proxies coming freely to Pakistan and turning this peaceful country into Yemen, Syria, Lebanon or Libya.

Yes agree that pakistan needs Russia for their high tec but be cautious at the same time. Russia was always part of Europe ,they are white blue eye christians. Where chinese are none and don't fit in the white man's world.

We never learn from history even though it is the best teacher.Remember when Ranjeet singh hired the French advisors during the Anglo Sikh wars to help the sikhs with modern european war tactics. He later found out they were passing sensitive military information to the Brits. Remind you French and English were big rivals in their colonial endeavors.

It's written on the wall. In new emerging global and regional order both need each other

I totally agree with your assertions, and it is for these reasons Pakistan being a legitimate atomic power, needs to learn to stand on its feet fast in the very rapid changing scenario in the world and that is what Prime Minister Imran Khan & COAS Gen Qamar Bajwa are busy doing right now.
Let's unite, stand behind them and pray to Allah for them to succeed to put Pakistan on the right track after a colossal waste of 72 years.
