Sir not doubting your experience but recently retired Major says 4 weeks is time enough to gauge the new COAS so I will believe him more.

Also it will be pretty obvious if frivolous cases almost on a daily basis against IK and PTI leadership stop, TV channels are not forced to heavily censor, people stop getting kidnapped and sexually tortured, anti govt journalists stopped getting harassed etc etc then we will know we are moving in the right direction.

Keep this in mind this new guy is completely different than Bijjo. Bijjo carried contempt for him in his heart that's why in the 1st summary he omitted his name. In the last 10 months Bijjo "Unnay waah" promoted many officers from Col upto Lt Gen ranks and placed them at strategic positions in the institution. Now it won't be easy for the new guy to displace those officers in 10 days and bring new one. This will create chaos within the institution. These actions are strategic actions...... long term. Bijjo was not anti India, he wanted friendly relations with India and kept on pressing Imran to defuse his rhetoric against India and Modi and start "Tijarat" with India..... all Kanjer mafroor's goals. Imran resisted tooth and nail and said over his dead body.

Now all the above measures outlined by you are extremely important but are of tactical nature and they are not difficult and they should be taken ASAP. I am with you on this.
