میں سوچتا بھی ہوں تو میرے رونگھٹے کھڑے ہوجاتے ہیں کہ یہ ہوگیا یا واجد شمس الحسن امریکہ اور برطانیہ میں کیسے لگے ہائی کمیشن زرداری کے دور میں ؟ کیسے ریاست کے کرتا دھرتا نے انکی اپپروول دی ؟
پاکستان میں ستر ہزار سے زیادہ شہادتیں ہی ہیں پچھلے دس سالوں میں ، ان کے زمنداروں میں سے ایک یہ بھی ہے . بےغیرت ابھی بھی اپنے آپکو پاکستانی کہتا ہے . مجھے حیرت ہے ابھی تک اس کی شہریت کینسل کیوں نہیں کی پاکستان نے . لیکن مجھے یقین ہے کے ایک نہ ایک دن یہ ہمارے ہتھے چڑھ جائے گے .

On the contrary, they are selected to serve agendas. Personal messengers of politicians to lobby/cut deals, not Ambassadors to represent the nation. While they're at it, they fix their own jobs in think tanks/organizations with anti-state narratives. Parasites.

Hussain Haqqani was picked up by Zia's ISPR during his College/University days.
He was prepared and groomed for carrying state's propaganda for 20 years which he conducted beautifully.
As part of deal, he was also lent to IJI to malign then state's enemy Benazir Bhuttu.
As with all Frankenstein's creatures, some where along the journey he fell with GHQ but stood in contact until his appointment confirmation as Ambassador in US.
Thereafter, like all Pakistanis hungry for dollars, he found a Buyer willing to pay more for his propaganda service then what he was making since mid 70's.
As for Wajid Shamsul Hassan, for now lets just say that he is yet another of our very own blockbuster production!
