Judicial decisions are always motivated by powers or emotions, theres nothing legal about it. Since I am from Karachi I can give two examples,
Supreme court ordered clearing up of encroachments from Karachi. Sindh govt started cancelling land leases as fake, from plots and houses that dates back to 50s. not only that they have started destroying parts of factories in Site Area which is one of the largest and most expensive industrial area of the country, on the context of Nullah encroachment, even though the boundaries of factories were more than 50 meters away from the the Nullah. Encroachment drive started because Our beloved Supremo CJ, was feeling nostalgic and wanted the restoration of 60s Karachi. While completely ignoring the lawlessness and landgrabbing of the outskirts which prevents the city from expanding. Is kay baap main himmat hay to zara Al Asif Sq, say lay ker Bakra mandi tak kay land ka qabza to churwa ker dikhayay, ya phir Banaras say lay ker naya nazimabad tak khali kerwayay, ya phir Quadebad ka poora area. poora qabzay per hay. lakin udher janab kee ungli nahi uthay gee, kionkay wahan per in kay daddy inhain bachpan main ghomanay nahi lay ker gayay thay bas.

Case file filed against Sind govt by MQM and PTI together for restoring powers and authority of Local govt(Trash collection, Building control authority, City infrastructure etc) , Supreme court ruled IN FAVOR of PPP led Sind govt by saying (and this is the direct qoute) "Aap kaam nahi ker rahay hongay is liay Sind govt nay power aap say lay lee hogi". When Petshops were cleared around empress market, they were just giving 10 min to move away, resulting in hundreds of animals dying when shops were bulldozed. is per yeh bhi baat banti hay kay inhain insanon kee qadar nahi janwaroon kee khaak keraingay,
