I am surprised how impression is being created that this government consist of incompetent people which are destroying economy and life of common man has become very difficult. And unfortunately many of PTI supporters also being brain washed by one-sided negative campaign.
Yes this government has many issues including incompetent people but ridiculing all their work & achievements and showing that previous governments were better, is absurd. Yes this government has committed mistakes, as all do, and also lack experience; but do you think changing this country, that has corrupt mafias with selfish lobbies, is like blink of an eye?
If any one of you have ever being part of changing organization then would know that fixing even a small sick department of merely 50+ people is herculean task despite the fact that whole organization is supporting you as head of department. In case of #Pakistan, unfortunately, no one intends to support the govt. and its top man. Elite class doesn’t want to pay tax, bureaucracy is resisting all kinds of development, allies and people under investigation are blackmailing government, mafias are resisting all corrective actions, all institutions have their own agenda way above Pakistan and even general public doesn’t want to change.
The way this government handled #COVID [having a great balance between lockdown & economy] is remarkable & probably one of the best response in the world.

Yes there are such people too but this government also has Sania Nashtar, Hammad Azhar, Farrukh Habib, Shafqat Mahmood, Taimoor Jhagra, Yasmeen Rashid, Asad Umar, Khalid Khursheed, Dr. Kamran, Dr. Arsalan, Khawaja Shams and many more new faces working day in and day out and producing results. Why media is not showing their work and just focusing on Firdaus Ashiq Awan and Shaikh Rashid?
They say economy isn’t doing well. Pakistan economy is out performing many in the COVID world. Just today #KSE100 companies witnessed exceptional profit growth and stunned everyone; 93% over 2020 and 61% over 2019 [pre COVID]. #Exports broke 2011 record, #CurrentAccount is in surplus [CA was in $18 Billion in deficit during previous government which was worst in the history], #Forex reserves are at highest levels [reduced $6.4 B during previous government], Pak #Rupee is strengthening after ages, #Industries growing at 21%, #Car selling growing at 29%, Fertilisers growing at 8%, motorcycles/tractors/rickshaw sales all growing exorbitantly, govt. #institutions’ performance improving and much more. #Moody’s projected Pakistan’s #GDP growth of 4.4% during coming economic year. Did Media ran any programs on economic improvement and spread positivity?
Homeless middle class are getting subsidised #housing loans, #Textile industry is running at 100% capacity after 30 years and creating thousands of #jobs, unprecedented cement sales, highest ever landing of fertilizers in Pakistan, various industries booked Rs. 800 Billion+ machinery / equipment for projects under subsidised #TERF scheme of #SBP, this government incurred 48% [$15 Billion] less liabilities than previous government despite 78% more debt servicing, poor people are getting free food/sleep places, biggest #dams [Bhasha, Dasu] are under construction [1st time after Mangla/Tarbela], exorbitant development package for under privileged areas, Pakistan ranking for ease of doing business (#EODB) improving, Pakistan international image & foreign relations are improving and the list is endless.
They say #inflation is very high and poor persons are dieing. For heavens’ sake! People who are saying this don’t even know prices of various kitchen essentials. Yes few prices shot up out of proportion due to mafias everywhere but presenting it as a failure of government is quite unfair. Above all response of govt. on rising prices is very good.
They say this government is destroying the country. What previous governments have done which has been destroyed mow? Achievements of previous governments include #mafias, #corruption, massive current account deficit, weak exports, heavy imports, huge budget deficit, #subsidies, heavy debt, piling IPP circular debt, electricity shortage, weak industries, overvalued exchange rate, pathetic projects like Orange Train, fixated mindset with visible over value projects, absence of focus on #agriculture & #exports, lack of reforms in public sector to name a few. Charge sheet against previous governments is endless. #Bureaucracy behaves like gods and claim that this govt. is clueless. Had our bureaucracy was sincere then we would have achieved what we have achieved in past? Should govt. continue doing what bureaucracy wants the govt. to do else bureaucracy will resist and label the government as clueless?
Had the government restored #Ad budgets of all media channels and salaries of anchors, as was paid in past, then same media will start showing Pakistan developing as best country in the world. It’s all about perception and media hypnotizes people by showing only negative thing even if it is quite insignificant.
Stop buying negativity. Stop wasting your time on negative news. Amir Liaqat, MTJ Nara, Gates divorce are media’s priorities. Every small negative thing of this government is projected as if whole government is a failure, e.g. Firdaus Ashiq vs AC-Sialkot. Shahbaz sharif used to humiliate administration & marrying their wives (as wrong as Firdaus Ashiq action), but it was fine for media. Still remember how SS humiliated & fired MS Mayo Hospital as toilet flush wasn’t working. Same was shown as the Herculean #Administrator by the same media and now shown as whole government machinery is incompetent.
We have been quite unfair with Pakistan till now and looted the country from both hands. If we do not stand up, resist negativity, stop watching negative channels, be little selfless, not promoting positivity then this country will have bleak future. We have to play our part for Pakistan, regardless how little it is.
