He is calling off the sit in live on TV. He said he is going now and will come back after 6 days if elections are not announced.
So the news of agreement was indeed true.
His initial response was:

After my ghussa subsided on calling off sit-in, i am relaizing that after 6 days, PMLN won't put up any fight to stop PTI. PPP was ready to give country to Army. This was their game. They tried to trap PTI via Judiciary, but failed.
I was taken a back last night, when they started a simple sit-in in Karachi for the night only. we were prepared to fight (my sister got hit by tear gas shell near numaish) , as was ISB/RWP/LHR , but still. He knows his game.
I think he is giving face saving to Army/Judiciary.
I also think that PMLN also deserve the right to go on back foot gracefully, as they were massacred from both sides (PPP & Mulla)
