Is the ban on student unions the reason why Pakistan lacks capable young leadership?

However the basis for which political activities are ensued are very important

Pakistanis have a very short memory span. The student unions were the scourge of the universities. Exams were delayed by upto 2 yrs on an average. They were the goon-squads of the political leaders. They beat up those professors who were not willing to pass their failed members. Jamaat Islami was the worst closely followed by peeepeeepeee. Instead of student unions of the past make it mandatory for every student to take part in at least two debates in the univ. debating society. The topic for debates should be set the top professors of Political Science, Economics and other such relevant fields. If anyone uses abusive words then the punishment should be 4 more debates.Let them clash with their minds instead of sticks and stones. All those LGBT member who are supporting the revival of student unions are no well wishers of either the students or the country but are a part of the mafia that is on it's way out.

ویسے تو سٹوڈنٹ یونین والے آپس میں ہی لڑ لڑ کے مرتے رہے کہ کتا کتے کا ویری ہوتا ہے لیکن ان کا عام سٹوڈنٹ کو نقصان یہ ہوا کہ مقررہ مدت میں کبھی بھی ڈگری مکمل نہیں ہوتی تھی . اکثر ان کے دنگے فساد کی وجہ سے امتحانات ملتوی ہوتے رہتے تھے

Our students need only education first, no politics in school, college and universities After the completion of study our kids joined the any political party and participate in politics, then we all welcomed them. But before the completion of education, it's not good idea for our students to start politics.
Eevery political parties must give the youth 25% tickets seats in the national and provincial Assembly in future to generate new future leadership for the betterment of Pakistan.

Student unions were the armed wings of political parties, especially JUI, MQM, PPP and ANP. Purpose of this new onslaught is to create battle zones within the colleges and universities on the basis of ethnicitities and political affiliations.

If you want to create educated political leaders, then offer internships, various short courses & seminars, political research scholarships, exchange programs where students can learn from developed and mature democracies.

Student unions not only help develop leadership skills but are also a voice for the students against the uni admins who only see students as a cash cow and couldn't be less bothered about their well being.

If they are behaving in a violent or "thug" like manner then well this is a state where politicians, lawyers and doctors are found beating others up as well without much punishment. So such behavior speaks of the state of lawlessness and level of violence which are somewhat of norm. It doesn't mean the institution of student unions is flawed.
