I hope you did not miss the discussion threads dear indigo wherein I explained the difference and the reason behind it. ghamdi bhai was wrong in criticising parwez sb marhoom because of not realising how the arabic language came about and why the word have the meanings that they have. Only and only parwez sb realised this fact and dealt with it.
Ghamdi sb gives importance to grammar just like molavi sahibaan not realising that grammar does not decide meanings of the words rather it tries to make sense how the language works and tries to extract rules and the study finds that no language follows grammatical rules 100%. There are ample exceptions to grammatical rules in all languages but these are special studies which are beyond scope of general public and even most scholars.
To realise the degree to which parwez sb studied the quran one has to listen to his lectures and read his book. I never came across a scholar of that calibre. Of course ghamdi is also realising things as time goes on because he too is an independent thinker and that is the basic requirement for true scholar but scholar is also a human and grow from knowing nothing to whatever one gathers in one's life time. All great thinkers and leaders including prophets were born children.
This however does not mean that parwez sb got everything right, he too stuck with traditional views where he did not understand thing any better just like sir syed, farahi, iqbal etc. We all do that because we are born in a an existing environment and we stay in it always and only change what we can and the rest remains as it is ie rome was not built in a day.
So if you want to know anything about views of parwez sb you can listen to his lectures and read his books, they are best ones available because they deal with so many different issues very nicely that others fear taking on eg look at molvies changing their stance on pooja paat by saying islam is nor pooja paat but they condemned parwez several decades back for saying these things. Today they want worldly educattion but they condemned sir syed for telling them that. Ghamdi sb is also target because he talks a lot of sense to which we are not used to.
