Mega Corruption of Vice Chancellors in Punjab

One test case for Governor/Chancellor Punjab, Education Minister and PM Imran Khan to understand the real cause of our lagging behind in Higher Education. The facts of the case are shocking. The real cause in Higher Education and Universities is Financial Corruption and pending cases which probably will not be resolved in next 20 years if continued with same pace.

KPK has taken a lead to eradicate corruption from universities as the Governor KPK removed two Vice Chancellors about four months ago on charges of corruption and illegal recruitments. The same actions need to be taken by Governor Punjab and Governors of other provinces too.

The slogan of PTI is Anti Corruption but the officials and political authorities have exempted the universities and Vice Chancellors in Punjab from Punishment.
Lets have a look at one case of corruption:

1. Higher Education Department Punjab Compiled a report about massive corruption of Vice Chancellor Islamia University Bahawalpur and forwarded the summary of his removal to CM office and Governor office in November 2020 (It was reported in media too). One Year Passed but NO ACTION

2. A case was filed by a candidate in Mohtasib office Punjab against VC Islamia University Bahawalpur (IUB) for illegal recruitments of his cronies that the candidate won and Mohtasib recommended the cancellation of seats and action to be action against the VC IUB. The case was challenged in Governor office by the university and governor upheld the decision of the Mohtsib (Ombudsman) that is, the cancellation of seats and re-advertisement, action against the VC. Decision was given by Chancellor on 26th June 2021 but ,surprisingly, No action. The same VC is sitting in the office to have more illegal recruitments.

3. A Higher Power Commission similar in powers to Sugar Commission was constituted and the commission took one complete year to compile the report. The commission recommended the immediate removal of VC IUB and register two FIRs against him in anti corruption and police station for embezzlement of PKR more than 300 million in various projects. The report was published on 30th July 2021 but NO ACTION.

4. On 30th August 2021, all the leading newspapers of Pakistan published the recommendations of the High Power Commission but No Action.

5. Sub Committee of National Assembly of Pakistan on Education took the issue and has been investigating it since 20th July 2021 but NO ACTION.

6. NAB has approved two inquiries against the VC IUB on June 4, 2021 and August 4, 2021 but NO ACTION.

7. The list of corruption is endless......

There must be zero tolerance policy against corruption in universities otherwise it will remain a dream only to compete the best universities of the word.

This is the story of one VC and if government takes it seriously, many other corruption stories of various universities will be revealed.

JUSTICE DELAYED is JUSTICE DENIED.

Evidence is needed when something has to be established. In this case, corruption and financial embezzlement is proved and the punishment is recommended but , unfortunately, the implementation has been delayed.

Governor/Chancellor has issued his decisions but due to high political influence, the implementation is pending for months and months.

Citizen portal sends the complain to the same official which comes with tile " Relief granted" without any action. Complaint was filed at Citizen portal in April 2021 which came with a comment that" it is finalized and under process of approval"

So you already decided everything, No FIR logged, No Complaint Logged, No Evidence, No Majority Given To Imran Khan after 22 years struggle. Just moaning and also Pakistanis are poor tax payers and corruption is normal also they want every thing on plate. No protest Zardari corrupt was president. Nawaz Sharif left looted no protest just moaning.

My Dear. It is purely an official matter. FIR can not be lodged by any individual, It can only be lodged by the government which government is not doing. Complaints were lodged that is why the corruption has been proved.
It is only Imran Khan who can eradicate corruption from universities.
Everything is proved and finalized but the concerned political authorities are reluctant to implement it.
In high official matters. No one can make any propaganda because the institutions keep al the documentary evidence which can not be denied.
Moreover, It will be a foolish act to make any propaganda on Siasat PK because most of the people who comment or post threads on this forum are educated and they make postmortem of the news within no time. Hence, everything in the thread is based on written documentary evidence.
