In a Muslim society, we have to encourage the GOOD and discourage the BAD if we want to remain a Muslim society.
But aren't we responsible to educate people as well what is GOOD and what is BAD? Do you think these psychologically ill people are raping children because they know what is GOOD and what is BAD? And it is not just limited to the guys roaming on streets, the thing is all over, in schools, in madrassas, in families and everywhere. Until our people and our children do not know how to coup with it, how can we expect to get rid of this?
As far as the rhetoric of Muslim society goes, then we should define it. I am sure you are also living or have lived in a foreign society, tell me honestly, do not you find other countries and their societies more honest, respecting, truthful and sensitive when it comes to children, women or weaker people? Did they achieve it by banning the discussions?
When the Almighty Allah tells us everything openly in Quran, his Prophet (SAW) told us in Hadiths and so on, why we always keep trying to keep our mouth shuts against the problems and their solutions?
