Unless the Taliban accept ground realities and conform to the norms of the 21st century, e.g Treating women with kindness, respecting personal liberties etc, ( la iqraha fi deen) they do not have much future.

I think they have a big future ahead of them.... every major country wants to use Afghanistan for business connectivity. and that alone will become the centre of focus. As far as their treatment of the citizen is concerned the Taliban has already shown that they are a lot more mature than what they were in the 90s.
