Thats not a prophecy, its talking about a past events, the first corruption was at the time of King David and the second corruption was the slaying of the Prophet John, the third one was by Banu Qurayza and Banu Nadir.

Read the entire thing in context until Verse 8. Stop misquoting and misusing the Quran to justify hate and violence.

Quran does not justify hate and violence in fact it is the west and the Israel who does.

Nothing is out of context even if you read all the verses the gist of the text is clear that Israel was once and again in the future will be doomed.
It might not happen in the near future but, it will happen eventually.

No it doesnt Verse 100 to 105 is talking about story of Moses.

The previous verses are talking about destruction of first and second jewish temple with the final destruction being that of Banu Qurayza and Banu Nadr.

Its not talking about modern Israel as you are trying to claim.

This was sent to me by my friend in Jordan. I am glad that we have some good Quran alone researchers.
Please read and comment.

The Kingdom of Israel is wiped out due to the transgression of its later generations.

17:4-5 And We decreed to the Children of Israel in the Book, that you will make corruption twice on the earth, and that you will become very high and mighty. So, when the promise of the first one comes to pass, We would send against you servants of Ours who are very powerful, thus they managed to breach your very homes, and this was a promise which has come to pass.

The Children of Israel, gain power and influence more than ever and regroup into one place.

17:6 Then We gave back to you your independence from them, and We supplied you with wealth and sons, and We made you more influential.

17:104 And We said after him to the Children of Israel: “Dwell on the earth, then, when the time of the second promise comes, We will bring you all together as a mixed crowd.”

The prophesized rise to power and regrouping of the Children of Israel came to fulfillment in 1948 with the declaration of the “State of Israel”. This is the first time since the Exodus, and the second time since the Kingdom of Israel, that a large mass of the Children of Israel has come together in one place.

The end of “new Israel” will come at the hands of those who are Monotheists, as they will retake the Temple as they had done centuries ago.

17:7 If you do good, then it will be good for you, and if you do bad, then so be it. But when the promise of the second time comes, they will make your faces filled with sorrow and they will enter the Temple as they did the first time, and they will strike down all that was raised up.

The sad truth for the Children of Israel is, as their rise to power and gathering has been prophesized in the final Scripture over 1,400 years ago – so has their undeniable end and destruction. The ungodly actions of the Children of Israel - coinciding with this second rise of power - have ensured that their fate is sealed and that God’s system is moving towards events that will bring about this end.
These ayahs are in the past tense and describing what has happened in the past. And the second destruction it talks about is

"in A.D. 70 Titus took Jerusalem by force. About 133000 people were put to the sword. Sixty seven thousand made slaves, and thousands sent to work in the Egyptian mines and to other cities so that they could be used in amphitheaters for being torn by wild beasts or become the practice target for the sword fighters. All the tall and beautiful girls were picked out for the army of conquest and the Holy City of Jerusalem and the Temple were pulled down to the ground. After this the Jewish influence so disappeared from Palestine that the Jews could not regain power for two thousand years and the Holy Temple could never be rebuilt. Afterwards the Roman Emperor, Hadrian, restored Jerusalem but renamed it Aelia. The Jews, however, were not allowed to enter it for centuries. This was the calamity that the Jews suffered on account of their degeneration for the second time."

So what? Israel will be doomed. Why Muslims are deliberately trying to destroy Israel. Prophecy must be fulfilled by God not humans

Of course God will full fill the prophecy but God has his own ways to get thing done. It will be humans who will do it.
It's called Allah's mukafat Amal.

No need to get into a debate with a person who doesn't believe in religion.

You are mixing it with history.

No, just giving you the context of the ayats you posted, that they are talking about past events, not prophesizing future events. Very easy to see that when ayat 17:7 says the temple will be destroyed again.

The temple was first destroyed by Abu Khath Nasar II or Nebuchadnazzer II and then destroyed for the second time by the Romans and it lays destroyed till this day. Only part that remains of it today, is the wailing wall which is one of the holiest sites for jews today.

So clearly talking about past events.

Read the ayahs again and you don't need to get into history. It is straight forward.

I have and they are very clear on what they say. Events described in the Quran are not just fairy tales, many of them can be found in recorded history, including the destruction of the temple .......... twice.

Temple will be destroyed
It already has been destroyed, twice and lays in that ruined state till today.

As per my understanding, the second destruction will take place in the future.

I would agree with you, but the second destruction has already happened and it is well recorded in history too. There is nothing left to destroy. It's like saying the Titanic will sink when it already has sunk long back.

Reading the ayahs it seems to me that the second destruction will take place as it is talking about future event. I could be wrong but i will ponder upon it.
