Why Media comparing Hafeez Senate case as no confidence vote?

All media is saying that if Hafeez loses than Imran Khan PM is over and it's nothing even Ary program are saying that. I do not understand.

This is not the case at all because no confidence vote is against IK, which is an open vote ,where as Hafeez is no politician or MNA's can be bought that is it is secret ballot.

I do not understand how it can be compared with no confidence vote.

Because at the moment Hafeez Sheikh is the Economy minister in Cabinet => OK

However is not from PTI or alliance => OK

As per our system for anyone to be part of Cabinet member must be a NA member or a Senator => OK

How here is the twist,

he wins (which he will win against Dangar Paindo Gilani)
THEN
Govt goes fine

ELSE
losing him means that you have no one to run economy

which leads to no-confidence-vote

Bad news for phuddu dakoo movement is its a lose lose game for them. PTI wins majority in senate unki bund lag jaye gi. PTI doesn't win majority in senate, IK will dissolve the assembley and call for election, phir bhi unki bund lag jaye gi.

So in all scenarios the final result is Bund lag jaani hai har surat-e-haal mein.

I agree whether Hafiz loses it has no direct bearing on IK. It is not akin to a vote of no confidence against the sitting PM. Moreover, whoever thinks that Hafeez will lose lives in a fool's paradise. Hafeez is definitely going to win this election. Nawaz Sharif enjoyed the support of the military establishment for so long is clear proof of the fact the military doesn't change its stances quickly. This time the military establishment is supporting Imran Khan and will not stop this support quickly either. Asif Zardari who thinks that he plays smart will be outwitted by the military establishment this time. If he thinks the assurances of the military establishment not to support IK in the senate elections are real he will soon know that he is taken for a ride this time.
