@tariisb Could you tell us whether it is good or bad if they dont wear hijab?

Allah says:

O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments (Jalbab) over their persons (when abroad - ie in the public arena): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 33:59

and

And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils (khymar) over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. Afsoos on all defending dupatta less women, rule is rule my dear, either u accept what Quran says or u dont, just say u dont believe on the words of Quran, if a women's chest rather her complete body is to be covered as per the rules of Islam than it has to be without any daleel, its just like u cannot mend the rules of a university or college just because u dont like them, and if u express ur concerns the administration will simply ask u to join some other institute whose rules suit u the best

I don't think the government has any right to force people regarding their personal lives. But it can create ways to build knowledge of the people regarding culture and religion with the establishment of madrasas and enabling the madrasas to take the place or to be equal value of any school or university. I think people accept the religion as a cultural thing and not by heart. We were born with religion but we follow our culture in our daily life.

She is not wearing Hijab because her full head is not covered, it is like a fashion statement. She has no intentions of cover her body either, because despite wearing two "Dupattas" her cleavage area is still open and visible.

You could call her a poser nothing more than that, she is trying to fool people. It is better if she doesn't bother at all.

She and her husband went to Hajj on taxpayers expense it was their 2nd Hajj. She said it was justified because she did not take any plot, the reporter did not ask her weather there was one offered or not.

Even though some may consider it a symbol...still having a dupatta gives you an identity. When you compare with indian or other countries, it will be a welcome look to see our anchors and newscasters wearing Duppatta.
I see Samina Peerzada nowadays, in the role of Mother , with the Dupatta in each drama serial. It gives a kind of motherly warmth and sense of piety that a woman deserves.

I don't want to force women to wear it BUT they should be encouraged to do so by the Media tycoons.

as pakistanis we will get a sense of identity when our media women will show themselves like this. they will be able to make many others start practicing same ..and so will be contributing to spreading good in the society.
