Will Argentina now support Pakistan in FATF?

As we know that Argentina is also a FATF member.
I was wondering if this country will support Pakistan in FATF.

Argentina should be grateful to Pakistan as when other countries
refused to sell their fighter jets to them, Pakistan offered its JF-17 but
with the cost that Pakistan had to pay by losing cricket tournaments.

What do you guys think?

Will this country return favour to Pakistan by supporting in FATF ?

No they Will not. They Will also listen west…
If Pakistan China start supplying them military equipment's, they can become strategic allies. They will need maintenance and training as well. Now a days business and military cooperation matters not east or west.

If Pakistan manage to get 12 vote it can get out of the Grey list. Like USA cannot black list Pakistan as long as Pakistan manage to get support of at least 3 countries.

The problem is FATF was imposed on Pakistan by USA to please India, Western countries like UK, France etc will back American position and appease India in return for lucrative trade deals, what we have to do is ensure they cannot point at anything that warrants blacklisting. The reason Pakistan is on grey list for so long is because our enemies are praying we make a mistake (we have the right people in govt at the moment and they are aware) We just need to stay alert.

I think Pakistan will be out of grey list in the next review otherwise FATF's credibility will be seriously damaged. Since west know that very well, they are now trying to put the pressure by other means.

Pakistan have support of more than 3 countries to remain in grey list if they refuse to move us to white list.
Pakistan will show FATF a middle finger.

Just to jolt you off the friendship bandwagon, Argentina considered JF 17s not becuase they thought they were 'better'. They did so because all other options were hindered by UK led sanctions.

Whether or no JF17s are better is a different debate. I believe its a combination of the hardware, software, and the man in the cockpit......and Pakistan excels in the 3rd category.

India is playing the same game China played have cheap labour and good consumership of western products
Pakistan needs to make its economy consumer based Aswell to show the world your business can flourish here as well at the moment we importing things which west don't care about we need to work on our growth to sell to the world and bring big business in the country to let them flourish as well

Did Argentina vote against Pakistan?

End of the day Pakistan only ended up in the FATF grey list after the Indians persuaded China to vote against Pakistan.

China, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia, which during the initial phase of the meeting resisted U.S. pressure to place Pakistan on the list of states that lack effective regulations to combat terrorism financing, withdrew their support during the final phase, allowing the motion to go through successfully.

If i remember rightly Turkey was the only country that continued to support Pakistan when everyone else abandoned us. We must not forget friends that act with honour.
