جیو نیوز کے پروگرام آج شاہ زیب خانزادہ میں گفتگو کرتے ہوئے عارف حبیب کا کہنا تھاکہ آج وزیراعظم سے بانی پی ٹی آئی کی رہائی کے حوالے سے جو بات کی وہی بات آرمی چیف سے بھی پہلی ملاقات میں کہی تھی۔

انہوں نے بتایاکہ آرمی چیف کوبھی میٹنگ میں کہا تھا کہ پولیٹیکل پولرائزیشن کی وجہ سے ملک کو نقصان ہورہا ہے، سیاسی پولرائزیشن کوختم ہونا چاہیے، سیاسی پولرائزیشن کے خاتمے کےلیے اقدامات کرنے چاہیے توآرمی چیف کا کہنا تھاکہ پولرائزیشن ویسی نہیں جیسی آپ دیکھ رہےہیں۔

• A party struggled for 26 years before finally gaining just enough votes from all across Pakistan to form govt
• They did not immediately engage in war with the Pakistan Army, who has gained immense control thanks for Nawaz Sharif & Zardari.
• The other parties kept a single stance, there is no corruption in Pakistan & their leaders are clean. Shake hands with our leaders.
• The courts and evidences on the other hand clearly showed that if rule of law truly prevailed, their leaders won't survive. Instead of pushing for moral highground as a party, they kept trying to deal with army to save their 4/5 people who were caught in corruption.
• What happened next a party stood fast on its principle while everyone else made a deal with army to overthrow a legit govt one year before elections and give control of govt to army.
• The goal of PPP & PMLN was to simply regain power, they did at the expense of damaging every institution of Pakistan.
• The result is that PTI has actually reached the peak of it's popularity and the only party who can mobilise public in any corner of the country, while the so called politcal parties are mere puppets working under the army
