for GOD sake brother learn it completely. A country must contain its imports on things he can produce locally. (like food items etc).

Import + Loan repay (spend less)

so most important is your current account balance.

A country like Pakistan should discourage the imports which they can but when your country is driven as import driven from decades its not easy to do it in a while but as PTI Govt did in few big sectors. (Mobile making, Car manufacturing, and energy made on Pakistani fuel like (water, Wind, local Coal). These major items save your dollars against imports.

Stop importing (Sugar , wheat , Cotton) where we losing dollars as these things we can produce inside Pakistan.

But as we seen previous Govt's priorities were building roads and housing societies all over the country demolishing agricultural land.

I live in Lahore and seeing most Shahbaz Govt. Lahore expanded everywhere and daily you find new housing society by demolishing agriculture land. Because we went to import everything.
