کوہستان میں چینی انجینئروں کی ہلاکت کے بعد چینی کمپنی ’چائنا گیزوبا گروپ کمپنی‘ نے داسو ڈیم پر کام بند کر دیا۔

چائنا گیزوبا گروپ کمپنی کی جانب سے تمام پاکستانی ملازمین کو فارغ بھی کر دیا گیا ہے۔

کمپنی کی جانب سے جاری کیئے گئے خط میں کہا گیا ہے کہ 14 جولائی کے واقعے کے باعث کام جاری نہیں رکھ سکتے۔

خط میں چائنا گیزوبا گروپ کمپنی کا یہ بھی کہنا ہے کہ تمام ملازمین کو گریجویٹی اور تنخواہ ادا کی جائے گی۔

داسو ڈیم کے پراجیکٹ ڈائریکٹر انوارالحق نے کمپنی کے کام بند کردینے اور خط کی تصدیق کر دی۔

انہوں نے کہا ہے کہ جوں ہی سیکیورٹی کے معاملا ت درست ہوں گے کام شروع ہو جائے گا۔

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.Why was not maximum security provided to the Chinese.It is an open secret that Indian RAW and Afghan NDS have terror camps in Afghanistan as well as sleeper cells in Pakistan yet strict security is not enforced.Pakistan should ask China to provide surveillance equipment,phone tapping technology and facial recognition systems.Any person or vehicle entering sensitive areas must be checked.The work on the dam has been suspended.Hopefully it can resume soon.

I have carefully read this notification and understood following points.

1. China has suspended work on the construction of Dasu dam. This means that they might restart it when they think that the culprits have been apprehended and Chinese are provided fool-proof security

2. They have terminated employment contract with Pakistani employees ( not with their own employees). It seems that China thinks some Pakistani personnel’s collusion with terrorists caused and compromised their security. If that is the case, then it is highly unlikely that the employment contract of Pakistani employees will be restored.
