Balochistan Insurgency Logistics

Balochistan is rugged and dry and scarcely populated. Insurgents here choose remote far areas in contrast to ttp that operated in populated areas. In such remote areas weapon might be easy to obtain as border is porous but how do insurgents maintain their logistics. Two basic needs are water and food which are hard to store and need often accumulation. How does insurgents gain these two resources and can this weakness be exploited?

Since water and food are the basic needs, any group will gather at a place where these supplies are sufficiently available in sustainable quantities, be that insurgents or not - else they will move to another area in case these supplies become short . Don't know much about baluchistan situation, but insurgent, in general, are based in villages and populated area who keep moving in and out of their remote camps. So your premises seems not quite right. ,Do you have some exact maps and locations in mind?
First don't really get why have you brought up this concern at this time?
Second, if you are to imply that Baluchistan gov. may adopt a policy of starvation., wont agree at all , these people are fellow citizens and brothers regardless of political differences. Unless government is to catch someone who has committed a known crime no unnecessary force can be justified.

If you look at the videos of baloch insurgents the most of the attacks are hit and run and ambushes and most of these attacks are carried out in far remote areas that are not populated. These areas are great for an ambush and usually very long range weapons are used to carry out such attacks. In short these insurgents are making a good use of the geography of balochistan they are using its vastness to their advantage so can state of Pakistan adopt the same methodology of using terrain to their own advantage?
The weakest link in the terrain is the supply lines of food and water as its dry and arid. Weapons are easy to obtain but food and water supplies are required on daily and weekly basis by monitoring food and water, hurdles can be created for these insurgents.
And yes balochs are our brothers but NDS and RAW funded terrorists should be dealt with iron hand.
