Close to one million people have lost their jobs already. It is going to get a lot
worse. The full impact of Brexit has not been felt yet because they are going through the transition period.China will not sign a trade deal with UK after UK's interference in Hong Kong.

I meant ....what effect on housing market.....interest rates...?

So far there is not much change in mortgages and property values, but lenders are more careful with less borrowing options for low and middle income groups. Inflation and general daily grocery price is also the same, but post Brexit, might rise.

IMO it will depend if there is any second wave in winters which forces an economic shut down. Next 1 year will be tough and if the vaccine comes in early, it will bounce back.

whether a second wave goes or come, the magic money theory (MMT) is bound to fail
