Dont even think of it.. your laptops will be 1000% destroyed.. you dont know how pakistani loaders carry passenger's luggage. they just throw every bag without any care . The best and safe way to carry laptops is your laptop bag which you can hold on your shoulders and other is in hand carry thats it..

Please guys let's just keep the discussion on the topic here. I am sure others like me will also benefit from it.

We are very much on topic bro, anyways as discussed in detail you can carry max two laptops. However I would recommend for your friend to carry tablets & mobile phones (and im not sure, how much one can carry) instead of carrying more then two laptops. Mostly i see people are holding three mobile in hand and few tablets with them in handcary.

OK guys thank you for your guidance. I also confirmed it with a person I know and he told me that you can take up to 2 laptops without paying anything to the government. BUT both the laptops should be used. If i were to take even one brand new laptop I would have to pay tax on it.

I'm new to the siasat forums. I have read this thread fully, but just to make sure since it's 2020 now and there might be any changes to the customs, so to be on the safe side.

I'm overseas, and I'm traveling to Pakistan.

I have the following concerns that I need to be addressed:

1) I have 1 laptop which is personal, and another laptop which is for work. Both are in use.

So my question is, will I be fine with 2 laptops that are in use at Islamabad Airport? Also, what about Peshawar Airport?

Other than that, what if I have 1 laptop that is in use, and another laptop is brand new?

2) Is there any duty/fee on bringing a laptop, say I have 2 laptops given the above scenario?

You can bring two laptops in your carry-on. In fact the TSA don't mind how many laptops you bring in your luggage. When you reach the security checkpoint take any personal electronics larger than a cell phone out of your bag and place each of them in a separate tray for screening. Well, Last year I purchased lenovo ideapad flex 5 notebookcheck from Dubai, and back to Pakistan easily without any disturbance.
