i am no expert but even me (a lay person) could easily figure out that both russia and ukrain fell into a war trap...NATO Instigated Russia...and using media to paint itself as friends of Ukraine..

It was obvious after Iraq and Afghanistan wars the greedy weapons mafia of the US and West needed a theatre to keep on selling their weaponry to keep on making big bucks, hence this war.

Yes, they warned about this, but they dont absolve Russia!.
Its same as saying that the law enforcement agencies are responsible for mobile snatching and thefts in Karachi. Which does not imply that the Thieves and dacoits are morally/ethically good people and should be supported against the police.

All of them implied that Russia aka Putin is an A**hole and would leave no stone unturned and kill everyone if this happens.
