I agree with you totally on this. on one hand, they are denouncing and condemning the act and on the other hand they are also playing it everywhere. same is the case with social media, they have made the video viral. every page has shared it. when will people learn?!

اگر ایک آدھ مورننگ شو ہوسٹ کو ٹپکا دیا جائے تو یہ سارا کنجر خانہ جوہر صبح ہم مختلف چینلز پہ دیکھتے ہیں بند ہو جاۓ. ان مارننگ شو ہوٹس نے پچھلے کئی سال سے بڑا گند مچایا ہوا ہے. ایک ہوسٹ کوئی نیا کنجر پنا ایجاد کرتی ہے تو باقی ریٹنگ کہ لئے اسے فالو کرتی ہے

I have watched both videos and here are the differences (and I am not a fan of ML , hate him!) :

- this is pretty much a real wedding (parents of couple are present), versus a cheap extravagant gimmickry for publicity and advertisement that ran on GEO TV.
- there aren't any imbecile or immoral things happening in this settting (no dance, no joota chupai, no doodh pilaii), respect is being given to qawwali, all wearing dupatta and respect is so evident.
- this bride has not maligned the national institutions of pakistan and have not participated in any filthy, dirty sex videos/pictures like the way veena has done; and so the debate regarding the use of qawwali has heated up and caused a massive outrage just due to appearance of veena in that GEO video.
- use of qawwali occured multiple times in the movie 'veer zara' (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JL4Ap9jspqk) , however it was also shot in a very respectable setting. so the debate here is not about the use of qawwali, rather it is about the scenario and the setting and the due respect these words deserve !
