In the current situation, in order to delay the election and providing a fae saving for IK as well, this scheme has been mapped. But remember, it is still a scheme -- changes may occur at the very last moment.

With all due respect Aftab's political analysis is very flawed. Ive been listening to his vlogs every since he started. Still very reluctant to hold the boots responsible, going ever so far as saying they must have done this in ignorance and then giving all sorts of "patwari-esque" justifications that a solider is trained to just follow orders and he will even die but follow those orders blah blah blah.Army Conveys their Road Map to Imran Khan & PTI through

Khan ko arrest ker ni koshish to karian, phir dekho kya uddam mach tha hai. And if these bastards succeed in doing so, you think everyone will just sit at home quietly?
What nonsense is this guy talking about that the Khan is our red line narrative needs to be revisited and that we should let Khan sit in jail and that his life will be safe in there. Yeah fuckin' right!

Yes, a face saving for IK, for not carrying on with his drive of early elections. The PDM setup has taken the people and economy of Pakistan as a hostage. So, if IK does not agree to their demands, they will keep punishing the country & its people.
But decisions like this to wait/back off, in situations like these come at a great political cost. However, if IK goes to jail for a few months, not only his political capital will be saved, but, perhaps there will be a bloodless transfer of power after these elections.
