I do not know if the hadith refers to drinking or applying camel urine. In those days when anti septics were not available camel urine could have been used as one as it has such properties. Also it is true that the vegetarian mammals excreta is not as disgusting as other animals - the reason refuse of cattle has been used since ages as fuel and other purposes.

P.S: The discussion is mute as no one is asking anyone to drink or apply it when medical science has advanced and other methods of treatment are available.

Baba how can you even say such a thing. Ever read the Quran by mistake even? Have you see how much importance it gives to tazkiya/purity from which the word zakah is also derived. Then how can you say it is even remotely ok to ingest or apply such impurity and filth on one's body. Totally goes against the concept of tazkiya in the Quran.

The problem with the hadithist mushriks is they look at the Quran through the lens of their garbage books. Quran being the final authority is only in words for them when in reality they reject the teachings of the Quran and follow their garbage books which 99% of them haven't even read, like the example above. And then jahil mullahs promoting that garbage.

And no the discussion is NOT moot ( not mute ) because it has become a business where people are now being sold bottled camel piss claiming it has xyz properties because of some garbage hadith.

Saudia has spent billions chasing some kind of miracle cure for all sorts of things from headaches to cancer from camel piss. Even developing camel piss pills FFS! Money that could have been spent wisely elsewhere in just trying to prove some hadithist nonsense correct.

If you even for a second remotely believe in such garbage ( regardless if your practice it or not ) then there is no difference between you and hindus, because 99% of hindus also believe in the powers of gau muttar but only a tiny fraction actually practices drinking it.

Half of the garbage that is said in the books like bhukhari are said today those people will "jahanam wasil"ed But since Bhukhari, Muslim, Dawood, Majah are all above the Quran and the Prophet so it is ok. Then there is even more junk in other garbage books by founders of desi sects like Fazail e amaal etc etc which are printed even till today.

Just today I was reading the brilliant 18 yr old Pakistani cricketer Ayesha Naseem is going to quit cricket because she wants to live life "according to Islam" Which just goes to show that the mullahs finally got to her and her family that playing cricket is haram and there is no place of a woman playing cricket in Islam.

So now all that talent and prosperous future career gone to shit at the hands of bhaand moulvis. Plus giving a message to all our girls that sports is haram in Islam and only getting married, fucked at night by some ugly husband and popping out kids, cooking and cleaning is the "Islamic" way of life.

Quran came in the shape of a book, and had to be read. Otherwise they would have declared books, reading and writing haram. Although there are still moulvis that declare that reading the Quran on its own is haram.

The climate of Medina did not suit some people, so the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered them to follow his shepherd, i.e. his camels, and drink their milk and urine (as a medicine). So they followed the shepherd that is the camels and drank their milk and urine till their bodies became healthy. Then they killed the shepherd and drove away the camels. When the news reached the Prophet (ﷺ) he sent some people in their pursuit. When they were brought, he cut their hands and feet and their eyes were branded with heated pieces of iron.
