EVM was the idea of PTI. I personally think that they should have pushed it even more. They should have sat down with opposition and come up with agreement to implement it. IK mistake was all along the same that he refused to recognize the power of Parliament and thus continue to undermine it by not giving it importance and getting the work done above and beyond the Parliament by asking army generals to bring him the votes whatever he needed them for the legislation.
