Army Generals have been looting and never been challenged past 75 years, always been hiding from behind and running Pakistan. When Imran Khan was prime Minister always use to put obstacles and never wanted any reforms like Election voting machines, media fake news reforms, parliament reforms like stoping Mna and MPA's getting funds and making roads. Always establishment want corrupt and weak prime ministers, controlled Supreme Court chief justice, controlled media. Only thing they can't control is Social media and oversea Pakistanis.

It could be because of Saudi factor, I think. Or right now, his focus is on other issues. Both things are more plausible than US wanting bases in Afghanistan. Would they go to war with Taliban again, no way. Another far-fetched option could be that this Gov has promised US to sign Abraham Accords and recognize Israel so US have been convinced by Saudi to stay quiet.
Could be but How it takes trump to say release Imran Khan and stop human abuse. Attacking Afghanistan just need to drop bombs and use Pakistan to fuel and Use bases. Establishment is willing to do anything for Usa. Imran Khan is biggest threat for corrupt mafias because they never been challenged past 75 Years.

American system operates in a different framework. Every Administration have their priorities and campaign promises. They go accordingly. Unfortunately Pakistan is at a very priority.
