Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan won the National Assembly seat from NA-56, Rawalpindi, with big margin against Pakistan Muslim League’s (PML-N) Hanif Abbasi in the 2013 general election.

According to District Returning Officer, Rawalpindi, PTI Chief Imran Khan bagged 80,425 votes while his opponent, PML-N’s sitting MNA Muhammad Hanif Abbasi got only 67,167 votes. PTI Imran Khan has gotten lead of around 13,000 votes against Hanif Abbasi.

The overall turnout was 56.4 per cent in NA-56, Rawalpindi. PTI supporters are leading big rallies in Rawalpindi in jubiliation over Imran’s Khan victory. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Israr Abbasi was nowhere seen in the contest.

i was standing in line at 7 am with my all friends we was about 20 girls. waiting waiting and i did vote 1 pm. i was watching every where PTI in lahore. it hurts my feeling when i see pti lost the election . this is totaly wrost rigging .
i am EYE witness PTI have huge vote at lines. how they lost the election. i cant beleive. once again status co won. but we are not giving up fight. we will fight untill imran khan bring light in pakistan.
Noora goverment not going to run more than 2 years beacuse NS always do some thing dumb. he doesn have good brain.
