چینی کمپنی نے پاکستان میں انرجی سٹی بس تیار کرنے کا منصوبہ بنالیا, پاکستان کی ماسٹر موٹر کارپوریشن اور چین کی یوٹانگ بس کمپنی نے پاکستان میں یوٹانگ کی نئی انرجی سٹی بسوں کو مقامی طور پر تیار کرنے اور ایک جوائنٹ وینچر کمپنی قائم کرنے کے لیے مفاہمتی یادداشت پر دستخط کر دیئے۔

یوٹانگ ماسٹر اپنے آپریشنز کے لیے ایک نیا گرین فیلڈ پلانٹ قائم کرے گی,جو ملک میں سٹی بسیں تیار کرنے والی پہلی اور واحد کمپنی بن جائے گی۔یوٹانگ کی نئی انرجی سٹی بسیں ہائبرڈ اور الیکٹرک پاور ٹرینز میں دستیاب ہوں گی۔ ان بسوں سے پاکستان میں پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ کی کمی دور ہوگی اور حکومت کو ٹرانسپورٹ انفراسٹرکچر اپ گریڈ کرنے میں مدد ملے گی۔

پاکستان میں انرجی سٹی بسوں کی تیاری سے متعلق معاہدے پر وزیراعظم شہباز شریف کے چین کے دورے کے دوران دستخط کیے تھے,5 جون کو پاکستان شینزین بزنس کانفرنس میں ماسٹر موٹر کے ڈائریکٹر دانیال ملک اور یوٹانگ کے ہوانگ یوانچاؤ نے اس معاہدے پر دستخط کیے تھے۔

اس موقع پر وفاقی وزیر تجارت جام کمال، وفاقی وزیر صنعت و پیداوار رانا تنویر حسین اور وزیر نجکاری عبدالعلیم خان کے علاوہ سینیئر پاکستانی حکام بھی موجود تھے۔

I personally had an offer from a retired commodore from Pak Navy to set up a weapons inspection business, where out of date munitions would be "inspected" and then certified OK for use. Lot of money was to be made there also, but I didn't want to get my hands dirty either.
