I agree, they deserved to be hanged in the name of humanity. No religion is above basic human rights and decency. BTW Islam also supports capital punishment of such people, especially with ample evidence available

A mullah of our times is a curse and the worst hypocrite. We should not mix Islam of the Quran with the Islam of a Mullah.
In the subcontinent, it is a common practice for mullahs to sexually abuse children in just about all the Madrasas/Mosques.

one wonders how mullahism made it to Islam when there is no concept of priesthood in Islam to start with? in fact Islam very foundation is a complete antithesis of this concept. in Christianity, Hinduism etc one can understand the existence of such concepts but its certainly alien to Islam. an academic debate is required to tackle this very issue as its damaging the religion & is having negative long term consequences.
