I don't think he will be releases. His bail appeal has been refused once. He will be presented to the court will all the evidences against him which will kickstart the legal proceedings. It is quite possible he will be charged there and then because arresting him means that police had sufficient evidence against him in first place. He might appeal later which is quite likely. No doubt this case will go to crown court level until or unless altaf dies in this situation.
