As per the story is concerned it is too vague to comment on either side, operation should have been done but first making the innocent people safe. Remember the operation is done for people of pakistan and if they suffer from talibans or pak army than we lose no matter wat the outcome is!!!

Brother Ali, there are some foreign elements in the Taliban, who are spoiling the image of Islamic Punishment. This is the reason, why flogging video of a girl has been released soon after the peace agreement and all the pakistan are blamming taliban for this, but later on it was proved that that was a bogus video just to blur the soft image of Islam in the entire world. All the media should be ashamed that they start propaganda without making a proper verification about the authenticity of the video. Now again our media cannot go int he war zone, so entire media has to rely on the ISPR, whatever they told them, they simply quoted in the news. Is this the fair deal? this is the point which I want to mention in my previous post, that you have to have view of both the parties. NOW ISPR is the only media, who are giving press breifing every day, and our media is presenting the same stories, whey they release. Court is also give fair chance to person, who has been charged for murder, so that fair decision could be made. I am not here to justify the barbaric acts of so called Taliban, but we have to recognize the real taliban, who have been fighting with Christians, Jews and their allies to rise the flag of Islam all over the world.

I agree with you on some of the points that you have made, especially that everyone is entitled to fair hearing and should be given an opportunity to clarify their position. I dont think any fair minded person would disagree with you on that.
The problem, however, is that we dont have time to sort out other sides point of view. The first priority is to stop this mutiny and evil in Swat. We can learn the reality later. In normal circumstances I would have never said to shoot now and aim later, but the situation in Swat demands that we take action now and worry about other semantics later.
As far as ISPR being the only source of information and news coming out of Swat, and that media is promoting the same stories with independent confirmation is concerned. I think we should learn to trust our institutions, but we should keep our minds open and we should be able to filter the news from noise. Truth will eventually come out, and if the stories told by ISPR are further from the truth then it will reflect very badly on ISPR and the army. One more thing we, as a nation, have to learn is how we deal with the liars and the folks who have deceived us.
One thing I believe very strongly is that you cannot make anyone subscribe to your ideology by using force; you cannot push anyone to agree with you. If you want others to agree with your point of you then you would have to pull them towards you by your good behavior, attitude, honesty and the way you deal with them.
In the end I will only say this, people who have caused exodus of so many Muslims are nothing but pure evil and they should be dealt with accordingly, I dont call them by any other name.
