Your face is the mirror of your inner self and can not fool an inquisitive eye. An ugly face may hide good qualities, good character building and good morals and similarly a handsome face could hide evil within but also good qualities. But when I look at rehman Malik, I can not find honesty, sincerity and good morals but instead, deceit, duplicity, ambuity, dishonesty, insincerity and arrogance. Who is he and if he is a qadiani, Shia or Sunni or a CIA agent? He is so unconvincing and scarry eyes.
Asif Ali Zaradariss face also reflects treachery, deceit, conceit, dishonesty, insincerity, duplicity, ambiguity and compulsive lying.
But , " Handsome is that that handsome does" and beauty is not critreion of good character building. But there is no denying the fact that a thing of beauty, if in the lovely shape of a pretty woman walking on a street or a beautiful painting hanging on a wall are indeed things of joy forever depending on the subjectivity of the mind. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, which reminded me of one of the greatest love stories of Laila and Majnoon in The Arabian Nights. Majnoon was a handsome prince who fell deeply in love with a poor girl of very ordinary looks and of darkish complexion. He could not live without her and lost all interest in life and wandered around in bewilderment for his true. His father, the king, got very angry and ordered Lailas arrest.
She was brought before a qazi (judge) who accused her of misleading and trapping the prince into her charms and said to her , "Az deegar khoobaan, thoo afzoon neesti," meaning, "Oh girl, you are so plain-looking and there are girls out there exquisitely beautiful. What magic have you played on Majnoon that he has lost his mind and zest of life for you?" Laila replied to the judge, "Sir, you would not understand, deedea Majnoon ger boode tura, herr doo alam beykhtar boode tura," meaning, "If you look at me with the eyes of Majnoon, you will find the answer." It is true that our eyes sometimes tell us something that is unexplainable or indescribable in written or spoken words. True love becomes a longing for the two lovers not only for the body but more importantly for the two souls. You only love once and she lives in your heart for ever even though, you do not meet her again in life: it is that kind of feeling of pain and pleasure.
