Waah bhai Maulvi Anchor Saahiba, Kanday par Dupatta aur Khullay baalo k sath kisi dusray ka Shariat ki pabandi na karnay par News Break kar rahi hai.:)

Yeh aesa hi hai k Sharab peenay wala hath main sharab ki bottle le kar dusray ko kahay k tum ne Mazhab ko badnaam kiya.:)

Why to waste time and money on performing Nikkah? Live like animals as being exercised in other parts of the world. Don't worry, this time is not far away and woman will become only an object of entertainment and the women want the same liberty as you noted. Not only Pakistan but the whole world is at doorstep of this blessing where there will be no Nikah and people will live like animals. I wish I live to see this time in Pakistan and you will see what will happen there.

It is very much the business of the state , time has come to put a few who violate Islamic elements of state law be put in jail for a little while otherwise they will expose themselves to serious direct act by Islam loving people .

Iddat is important for several reasons , no medical tests be it ultrasound or chemical ones have sensitivity and specificity of 100% in all hands and in all manners of kits and machines used , to exclude pregnancy .

Besides women and persons even men surrounding a divorce are disturbed in addition to parties themselves and are liable to do things or take responsibilities in a hurry . A psychological coolness period and settling of financial aspects is important before a second wedlock is entered into.

I have seen quick second divorces as well when wedlocks are entered into too soon after a divorce.

OK let me clarify, it is none of the state's business either. Especially for a state who has not even made it its own business to ensure that its citizens have access to all basic needs that a human should such as access to clean water, health care, housing etc. Any government involving itself in such matters instead of focusing on basic human rights is just trying to whip up emotions to control the general population in the name of religion.
