For those that find the video too long to watch here is a short read: Looking at what Ibadah means in the Quran, does it mean what we are told it means or is translated as worship. Lets see what the Quran says about it, because the Quran is its own best tafsir. Even the traditional scholars like Ibn Taymiyya and Al Tabari say this.

This is a chart produced from all the ayahs that explain what Ibadah is, the one circled in green deals with how our social interactions should be, how to deal with our parents, neighbours, friends and strangers, how we should be in our dealings with others and what not to do.
And the ones outside the circles tell us what our character should be like i.e be humble, have humility, not to commit adultery, not to do shirk, avoid hearsay, use logic and ponder so on and so forth.
All of this is part and parcel of Ibadah, no where does it mention reciting certain verses of the Quran at certain times of the day for a certain number of times, counting beads, making pilgrimages, paying somekind of annual tax, abstaining from sustenance, taking oaths so on and so forth.
In a nutshell Ibadah is serving God by servings others and developing ourselves accroding to the Quran.
If you follow and obey Allahs commands as mentioned above then you are doing his ibadah i,e in the traditional sense, you are worshipping him and he is your mabudh i.e the one you "worship". But if you are following your sect, your madhab, your scholars, your salaf in your ibadah then they become your mabudh and by following and obeying them you are doing their ibadah.
