Imran Khan on his Asset Declaration Controversy

For the last few days there is a character assassination campaign has been launched against Imran Khan regarding his valuation of property. Imran Khan replied against those allegations to Naseem Zehra in his Talk Show, Policy Matters in 05 Nov 2011.

I Live in Islamabad G-9/4 but i am extremely surprised that he payed only 150,000 Rs for 300 kanal I am unable to believe I cannot digest this even in 2002 the price of that place was in some where 150,000 marla.

Forzeb, Prices in BaniGala were very low at that time, why dont you ask it from someone who is living in Banigala or BaraKoh Area and purchased their apartment there in 2002/2001, BTW it was never Islamabad its almost 30 KM away from Main Islamabad Area, and Roads and infrastructure is not there, Even GAS is still not available(It was still in installation phase in 2009, When i was visiting those area to meet one of my friend) in those areas and no concept of roads, why dont you just go there and visit and research the truth yourself.

i m not from islamabad ... but i visited imran's house .. bani gala is far away from Islamabad... dehi elaqa hai.. single tooti hui road hai... agar mujhay wo jaga free main b day to main na lun... abhi us ki ye halat hai to 2002 main wo jaga kaisi hogi... ??????????????

I am from Islamabad I-8 Area and i know that Imran was one of the first people moved to banni Gala. At that time price was very cheap farm houses were not in Fashion like today and when Musharaf made his Farm house in Chak Shahzad and got the roads fixed all the way to ChakShahzad thats when the prices rose. Banni Gala still is not that attractive me and my family visited it once nice construction now but the infrastructure is still very poor.

I beleive Imran when he says in 2002 it was 1.5 Lakh per Kanal

Imran Khans statement is Incorrect ! You must declare your assets in their PRESENT VALUE and not only in the PURCHASE VALUE. He is confused and not answering to Naseem Zehra confidently.
