We have heard a lot of folklore about Laylatul Qadr. Quite a few ahadith say that the 27th of Ramadhan night is the most likely Night of Majesty. I would pray 2 units of Namaz on this night and recite this Surah once, then ask Allah for His blessings, etc.

Even as a kid I use to wonder how can lailatul qadar can be what people claim it to be, when days of ramadan are different across the globe. Today its 27th here but somewhere its 28th, its night here and somewhere it is still day etc etc

I would advise you to take whatever bro Al Moses Phd says with a grain of salt. And follow his own advice that this his understanding. Some of his translations are very out there, you really have to take some great leaps of faith to believe in them. As someone who understands some Arabic he is really stretching it too far. Almost like Ghulam Ahmed Parvez but on a lower level. Ghulam Ahmed Parvez invented his own version of Arabic.

This folklore is popular among Muslims. I'm curious about what they're looking for on this night. I used to go to the Mosque on the 27th of Ramadhan for special prayers and sweets😊

Unfortunately majority of Islam today is folklore and cultural tradition.
