India said it attacked terrorist camps just across the border in Pakistan, the biggest military escalation since a standoff 17 years ago.
Domestic pressure had been building on Modi to take a tough stand over rising reaction of Kashmiris in the disputed region of Kashmir. Narendra Modi's BJP government swept to power promising a tough line on Pakistan, so it has been been under tremendous pressure to retaliate after the 18 September attack on the army base in Uri in Indian-occupied Kashmir. The raid was the deadliest of its kind for years, confessed by Indian army.
PM Narindra Modi seems unable to gather the courage to start surgical strikes on those who know better how to die for their country.
Heavy casualties were inflicted in surgical strikes late Wednesday on militants assembled to infiltrate India, Director General of Military Operations Ranbir Singh said in a briefing in New Delhi. The operations have ended and no more are planned, he said, without elaborating.
Look at the statement of Mr Ranbir Singh and you will easily find that Mr Singh is a coward soldier who feels no shame in telling lies to Indians and the international community.
According to the Times of India, 25 Indian soldiers crossed the line, crawling 3 km inside Pakistan and killed 40 terrorists. It's so ridiculous!
Line of Control is a significantly sensitive line and is being spied upon round the clock by highly sophisticated radar system by the two hostile countries. And after the Uri attack, it is highly alert in view of threats from across the border.Any movement across the border into Pakistan means war and war means the destruction of the enemy infiltration. Ranbir Singh says that Indian helicopters flew across the line and conducted a successful operation. It is really very shameful for Indian Army to boast of what they have not done and can never do in the future.
