that is western bullshit... this small country is front man of NATO. Russia is fighting NATO with NATO weapons. Ukraine on its own and Russia would eat it for breakfast...
Remember in early March 2022 Russia was outside Kyive then Ukraine begged them and signed fake treaty in Turkey and Russia backed off from Kyive...
2 points to ponder, though:
1. Russians ve already achieved their goal by territorial annexation of Western Ukraine and Crimea. The rest of ongoing conflict is them just continuiously punishing Ukraine for falling into Nato’s lap.
2. Conventional war fare is a thing of the past in era of drones and long range misiles. Even the mighty Americans couldnt win a conventional warfare against much weaker opponents like Talibans in Afghanistan and Viet kongs in Vietnam.
