Neelwahn Valley is located about 15 KMs from notable tourist destination Kallar Kahar of District Chakwal, Province Punjab. Neelwahn Ponds are at the drive of 40 minutes from Kallar Kahar in southwest along with motorway. The stream that is generating ponds in the valley is popular due to clean and cold blue water.
How to Reach the Ponds
The main tourist spot of Kallar Kahar is much popular, when you reach there—exit and keep moving towards Khoshab. After exiting from main tourist spot of Kallar Kahar, it will take nearly 35 minutes and you will reach in KhairPur area. When you reach in KhairPur, take directions from some local person about Neelwahn Valley. Just park your car and start moving downhill for nearly 25-30 minutes. Do explore the area yourself.
The total distance from Rawalpindi to Neelwahn Ponds is approximately 140 Kilometers.
The road distance between Lahore and Neelwahn Ponds is almost 275 kilometers. When you are traveling from Lahore and reach near Phularwar Bhalwal, ask from someone which track leads to Khushab.
The road distance between Peshawar and Neelwahn Ponds is nearly 270Km.
Attractions
The main attractions in Neelwahn Valley are mountains; Pond 1, Pond 2 and Pond 3 that are generated by same stream. The valley has two waterfalls, one at Pond 1 and 2nd one in mountains after pond 3.
Cultural Story of Neelwahn Village
Neelwahn valley is located in Distt. Chakwal of Punjab. Cricket is main sports among youngsters throughout the Tehsil. The area is very less populated. The site is situated in north Punjab, in the south there is Salt Range and West has Indus River, east with Jhelum River and north has Margalla Hills.
History of Neelwahn Village
Neelwahn was part of Jhelum during British Rule. Takht-e-Babri (Throne of Babar) and the Bagh-e-Safa garden – places near Neelwahn – have been mentioned in the books of history.

At this place you will not find porters or guides. You will have to carry your luggage yourself. So make it sure your bag is not over-weight.
Language
The people living in Tehsil speak Punjabi (Chakwal Accent) which is little different from the Punjabi language spoken in Lahore.

Use adventure shoes when going to Ponds
Avoid diving in Ponds if you are not professional swimmer
Speak to local agent for Neelwan Valley on reaching Noorpur Gateway
Keep local currency in pocket, especially 100, 500 notes.
You have to return to Kallar Kahar if you are planning to stay there
You can’t expect food, drinks in valley.
