PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif says he has no feelings of revenge against ex-president Pervez Musharraf.
LAHORE (Dunya News):- While giving an exclusive interview to Dunya News on Monday evening, Pakistan Muslim League (N) chief Nawaz Sharif said that he is not in favour of crushing the man who is struggling for his survival.
He added that no government official has consulted him about the trial of Pervez Musharraf. This is matter of rule of law and superiority of the constitution.
Replying a query, he said that he has no grudge or ill will against Pervez Musharraf, but the latter should be tried for violation of the law of the land.
Throwing light on terrorism, Nawaz Sharif said that this issue can be resolved through dialogue which is sole solution to the crucial situation. All the stakeholders including Baloch Liberation Army, Taliban and Punjabi Taliban should be included in peace process, said PML-N chief.
He said that if the PPP government had delivered properly, the country would have been one of the developed countries in the world.
Criticizing the PTI, Nawaz Sharif said that Imran Khan is in habit of using hyperbolic statements regarding politics; everything would be clear and crystal on May 11 after general elections.
Lashing out on ex interior minister Rehman Malik, Nawaz said that Malik had no sense of rule; that is why he pushed the country on the edge of civil war by his shortsightedness.
Replying a question, he said that Sanaullah Zahri and Anjum Akeel had nothing to do with corruption; rather they were scandalized by negative forces.
He also said that the PPP government has been targeting his family under different tactics like nationalization.
Pinpointing energy crisis in the country, Nawaz Sharif said that the federal government is responsible for shortage of electricity. Some people are disseminating fake and fabricated stories regarding loadsheding and holding provinces responsible for energy crisis.
The reality is that federal government refused to provide guarantee of the energy projects on the behalf of the provincial government; that is why provinces found themselves in miserable situation despite having every kind of resources, concluded Nawaz
