PTI KPK Internal Election Update
Election in KPK are in full swing .Some of the fellows here msgd me to put some light and update on the current situation there.I have to contact my own sources inside PTI kpk and deduct a report from it.
Until now , other then a few districts ,elections have been completed in 3 regions That is South,Malakand and Hazara .Election is Peshawar valley region is tomorrow.
The picture as it emerged ,KPK has two main panels now ( I am skipping the smaller groups as to cut this report short).
One is Pervaiz Khattak panel ,who has made alliance with shokat yousafzai panel and now they are one.The other is Ideological workers panel .it mainly consists of old PTI guard.There are two main people of this group Asad Qaiser and Saad Abdullah.
Interestingly ,while in public both Asad Qaiser and Saad Abdullah posed to be staunch opponents , internal sources claim that they both have reached to some hidden understanding according to which Asad Qaiser will only focus on getting President Post while the rest of Provincial cabinet including GS will be announced and controlled by Saad Abdullah.Thus Far,The only Provincial panel comes from IDEOLOGICAL WORKERS PANEL side.
According to latest available data, Ideological workers have clear edge over Pervaiz khattak group.Remember these figures have been compiled keeping in view the most unopposed Union council wins by any group.
It says that ,Ideological workers have clean swept Swat district where 29 out of 65 union councils have been elected unopposed and it includes 4 tehsils.
In lower Dir Ideologicals win 2 tehsils and a number of UCs un opposed.malakand district 13 UCs have been elected unopposed for ideologicals.
In abbotabad,haripur and mansehra ideologicals have upper hand.while in kohistan and Tor Ghar Pervaiz group seems to get the better part.in Bannu ,Peshawar ,DI khan there seems to be tough fight.
Mardan and Swabi also seem to tilt clearly towards ideologicals while noshera will be won hands down by pervaiz group.
In chitral election is not happening yet but report says its a home ground for ideologicals.Although in some districts like Peshawar and Bannu the odds are even for both sides.here in these two districts Pervaiz Khattak group have very powerful district candidates like in Peshawar Its yaseen khalil and in Bannu its Ahmed chairman.Thus ,they may have the strongest chances of winning these two districts.if they lost one of the two they should consider themselves unlucky.
Kohat is won by a new comer malik munir which seems to favor Ideologicals. In District Taank there seems a fight but may ultimately go in ideological's pocket.Bunir district is vague may go either way ,the loyalties here are not clear.
In a nut shell ,the final result may see the not very bright Asad Qaiser as President and The talented Saad Abdullah as General Secretary.
Although the election still have many miles to go its a vague blue print of the coming PTI KPK Cabinet.We should all pray that election remains successful because there were some rumors of minor firing incident in Malakand.Once internal elections completed PTI will unleash it Tsunami which will be very hard for the time tested LOTAS of N leage and PPP to stop.
